2001 Toyota MR2 Spyder with just under 100,000 miles. VIN JTDFR320710034775. Spring is here and it’s time for top down driving! Excellent driver with a few paint issues. Reconstructed title. The vehicle was totaled by an insurance company before I bought it, but has been repaired to spec and has no known issues. Vehicle tracks straight and looks great. I’ve owned it for a year now and have had no issues, except for some regular maintenance and repairs. I had to replace the catalytic converters about 6 months ago, and for those of you in the know, they are very expensive due to the fact that you basically have to replace the entire exhaust system for the repair. Toyota wanted about $2500 for the repair. I got it done at a private garage for just under $2000. Other than that it has just been regular oil changes. The tires are in excellent condition with about ¾ tread left. Has an aftermarket Kenwood stereo with Bluetooth and hands free phone installed. Also has rear box speakers in the behind the front seat storage compartments, as these cars only came with front speakers. Has a cold air intake and a brand new Optima yellow top battery.
