For Sale is a pretty much all original 1979 Volkswagen Riviera Bus. This bus is pretty clean inside and out for being 40 years old. It has original paint and fiberglass top. Pop top canvass is in pretty good condition, with a few patches but still usable for sure. This is the last year of the baywindow bus and most powerful and reliable (2.0L fuel injected engine and newer version of the transmission) and these are becoming more and more rare. Especially ones that haven't been restored by some guy in his garage. The motor has been completely gone through in the last few months with new spark plugs, fuel injection system, new wiring, and some new lines, this bus could be driven across the country without problems right now. Current SMOG and registration in CA. All electrical works, horn, blinkers, lights, ext. The underside is as clean as a 40 year old bus will get, pretty much rust free other than the battery tray which has the only significant rust. This is a pretty typical issue and isn't too hard to fix. The sink and electrical on the inside work. Upholstery, cabinets, and everything are all there and in good condition. There is some minor surface rust under some of the window seals, and on the front panel from rock dings from freeways driving. Other than that there is not much.
