The 1959 Bel Air was all new, and Chevy spared no expense at making it look like nothing else on the road.This restyle initiated the fourth-generation Bel Airs. The headlights were placed as low as the law would allow, and the rear taillights resembled cat’s eyesIt had an all new frame, called GM X-Frame, and the new sheet metal featured flat, wing-shaped tail fins.
