1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee 5.9. Runs strong and in overall good condition. Was my daily driver and just have had some more important things come up with the recent purchase of my home. Fully loaded rare 5.9 limited edition. Only 15,000 made in 1998. They don't make them like they did in 98. The good- 163,275 miles- 7 inch Iron Rock Off-road Critical Path Kit- Iron rock off-road over the knuckle heim kit- Iron rock off-road rock sliders- Kevin's off-road rear bumper- Kevin's off-road track bar and Kevin's off-road bushings- ARB front bumper- FI Airgap intake replaced in 2015- K&N Cold Air Intake System- Bilstein 5100 shocks (purchased in 2016)- New front coils (purchased in 2016)- 8,000 lb electric mile marker winch with wireless remote- 231 transfer case with slip yoke eliminator- Upgraded transfer case linkage- Dana 30 high pinion front with 4:10 Yukon gears- Dana 44A rear with 4:10 Yukon gears- Service front and rear diffs in 2016- Serviced transmission in 2016- Rustys off-road sway bar links (need to isntall, new in box)- Addco front sway bar- New alternator- Optima yellow top battery- New radiator- Ujoints- Motor runs strong- Transmission shifts great- Heat blows hot- Leather and carpet are in great condition- Overall a solid vehicle The bad- Cladding is missing on a couple of the doors. Can be replaced with aftermarket cladding for a couple hundred bucks.- Over the knuckle heims need to be replaced. Iron rock off-road has them and they are inexpensive.- Sunroof opens intermittently. Not sure if switch is going out or?- AC doesn't blow cold. Possibly needs charge but can't say for sure.- Window tint on front windows is peeling in some areas.- Tires will need to be replaced soon. I have a brand new set of BFG Goodrich KM2 mud terrains that I can sell to the buyer for a great price if interested.-slight body imperfections - nothing major. No rust Thousands of dollars in parts. Just the lift alone and front and rear bumpers with winch would be over $4k to buy new today. You never get your money out of aftermarket parts - my loss is your gain.
