High-mileage, well-loved city car. It has been parked on the street the 2+ years I've owned it (I'm the second owner). The previous owner put all highway miles on it driving between Boston and Chicago. I've put mostly city miles on it although I have done a few trips with my fiancé to northern Wisconsin and back. My goal with the car was to make it look stock+, more like an Audi S3. I'm very happy with how it turned out. From a few feet away the paint shines nicely in most areas (but it shows its age up close). The A/C blows cold. The engine still pulls hard. The stick shift and clutch feel great. Traction/Stability Control systems work as they should. The car has the winter package (heated seats), the premium package (leather) and the dual-sunroof which works perfectly and is so lovely on this black A3 as it is a black option and blends nicely. I've seen it on the other cars and looks really out of place, especially on the white A3. It also has fog lights which work as they should. This Audi was bone stock when I purchased it. Upgrades and maintenance performed since I've taken ownership include:•Grom Bluetooth Unit - works perfectly with OEM sound system, which sounds great•18x8" Audi A5 wheels w/ brand new tires all around, installed less than 2000 miles ago•ST Coilovers Professionally Installed about a year ago•2" Fender Flares installed all around, fenders were cut by a body shop to clear wider/larger tires•Black-bezel grill installed a few months ago•New Bosch Battery installed about a year ago•New spark plugs and coils installed last summer•Headlight high-beam and low-beam bulbs replaced late last year•Rear "A3" and "2.0T" badge delete, but I left the OEM four rings Audi logo front and rear Cheap fixes I've performed or had done by a professional:•Window switches on driver's door stopped working reliably so I replaced them with a non-OEM assembly and they have been working great, and look great too•Driver's side rear window disconnected from motor cables, so I've had it glued in place — it no longer goes down The car could use:•Takata Airbag Recall Performed — I had planned to do this but have been so busy with work I haven't had the time, but you should absolutely do this ASAP•New Brake Pads•New Muffler (OEM is expensive, I think an aftermarket would be a fun and cost-effective upgrade), it currently rattles a bit in first gear coming off of a slow start, otherwise it sounds fine•Some TLC from a body shop, I don't think it's worth investing in a full repaint but maybe spend a few hundred to have a shop go around and address the minor rust, dings and dents and you'll be good to go•A couple of bulbs at the rear, there are many in both taillight assemblies, there is currently a brake light bulb out (hardly noticeable) and a reverse light bulb out (which is very noticeable) I will probably think of a few other things I can add about the car, which I will do in the coming days, but I wanted to get this ad up ASAP as my fiancé & I leave for Europe in early May and want to try to sell the car before then. We will be using the proceeds from the sale of this car toward purchasing a house. We're going to sell our VW Corrado as well, but want to have the shifter fixed on that before we do.
