Here we go again. High bidder never contacted me or paid. Please don't bid if you don't have a 100% rating. Thanks for looking and feel free to ask questions. 72 cb500. 8900 miles. Starts right away thanks to electronic ignition added by previous owner. Runs well enough to cruise around, but wont run with choke off. Needs carb cleaning and new battery to be a good summer rider. Comes with a battery, but not a good one. Doesnt hold a charge. Good tank and side cover paint. One side cover has a crack that has been stabilized on the back. Modern tires. Original pipes are solid except the top right. It has several small holes in the bottom of the baffle section. Could be repaired by an experienced welder. Doesnt noticibly effect the performance, but adds a little snap to the exhaust. You cant see the holes unless you remove the pipes. Previous owner painted rims and rear shocks black. The paint is flaking off so it shouldnt be hard to completely remove. Everything else is pretty clean and functional. Seat has some splits in the cover. Seat pan is a little rusty. Comes with lots of extra stuff. No tool kit. Just a spark plug wrench. Thanks for looking! All of the extra original pipes have holes in them. The 4 into 2 pipes are in great shape. The tank is from a 76 cb550. The top is nice. The bottom has a rusted out corner that I tried to fix with filler. Everything else is good. Only the extra tank is rusted out. The original tank on the bike is good. Also, the winning bidder does not need to take the extra parts if you don't want to.
