1965 Ford Thunderbird. Acquired this car last year. Car was sitting in a garage since 1978. Included are the original fender skirts. Interior is in wonderful condition showing very little wear. Drivers side door panel needs some attention and the interior switches all need to be tested. I know the windows will not go up/down. Body is fair with little rust (Rear passenger quarter see photos), and there is a small hole in the drivers side floorpan. A few dents and dings around the body (Roof and rear drivers quarter and hood) and it desperately needs a detailing. Once waxed I think the paint would come up quite nicely. In the past few months we've replaced the following: 4 new tires, new period correct exhaust w/o resonators, new rebuilt holley 4bbl carb, plugs/wires/fluids, fuel tank, sender and fuel pump, battery, master cylinder and brakes. Being sold as a mild project car with great potential. It runs and drives, but I have yet to take it down the road. Winning bidder must Tow/Trailer the car away. I will not let it be driven off. Continued inspection reveals the following: Freeze out plugs are leaking, steering box leaking, crank shaft pulley neeed to be replaced, head is leaking drivers side rear, and it needs a valve job.
