Vehicle Detail
Up for bids is a 1998 Mustang GT in paint code K7 Bright Atlantic Blue. This color is not the most common of colors. I originally bought this car a few months back with the intentions of doing a 5.0 Coyote swap but plans have changed. The previous owner told me the car ran a little rich. He replaced the intake, installed new stock injectors, new ignition coils, wires and plugs. It also has a older set of long tube headers and is straight piped all the way to the back. The car is pretty loud but will not pass emissions if you live in a county that tests that, it does run and drive good otherwise. As I said already I bought it not caring about that as I planned a engine swap anyway. The A/C blows cool but not as cold as I think it should, I believe it needs a little more Freon. I wanted it for the color and the condition above all else. It is most likely a sensor he didn't replace causing the rich condition. ***Because this was going to be a build I didn't transfer the title in my name until the end of last week when I decided to list it and sell it. I have paid the tax and got it transferred and it normally takes Texas about a week and a half to process and mail it after I have visited the tax office so the clear Texas title should be in my hands by the time the auction ends and car is picked up. I only mention this in the interest of full disclosure*** There is no rust on the car and the interior is in great shape. It also has 3.73 gears. The trans will rub a little in 3rd gear if you try and go in too fast. Its a common problem on the T45 transmissions I'm told with the synchro's . It has eibach sport lowering springs installed .The stance is very nice. I have a folder full of receipts that was given to me by the previous owner that covers everything he and the original owner before him did.
