I am listing for Auction my 1963 Corvette Roadster. I bought this car here on Ebay about 3 years ago. The gentleman I purchased it from was 73 years old He bought the car off the original owner in November of 1970 and owned it continually until I bought it. When I bought my Vette , it was wearing 25 year old tires. I installed 4 new white wall radials. I also installed Corvette replacement "off road" mufflers The interior, although may look Black, is Dark Blue. The interior is all original , not perfect but very nice. I did install a complete new carpet kit. The White soft top is in good shape. rear window is "foggy" Manual steering and Manual Brakes It is powered by the original numbers matching 327 cu. in. engine. It was a 300 hp version. However, sometime in the late 1970's he rebuilt the engine (himself) to 340 hp specs. So the car now has a very potent solid lifter 327. In addition he installed an aluminum intake manifold, a Rochester Quadrajet , headers and the more modern valve covers. I have the original cast iron intake and Carter carb and valve covers. Do not have the stock exhaust manifolds. Original 4 speed and 3.36:1 Posi rear end are present. Car still wears it's original Black and yellow License Plates. Car is currently registered and insured with a clean California title in my name. This is an original Silver Blue car and was repainted the original color sometime in the 1990's. Paint still shows very well with very few blemishes. It came with a (removable) rear deck mounted luggage rack. The car's faults: tach does not workoutside rearview mirror is incorrectmissing one original wiper bladeradio just makes staticclock in-op In conclusion: If you are looking for a NCRS Corvette, this car is NOT for you. If you would enjoy a very nice, beautifully rare color, Mid-Year Corvette, that you would not be embarrassed to be seen any where in.This may be the car for you.It is an honest, reliable, FAST! Corvette. It does not run hot even in Hot Central California Summers.It starts, idles, runs, drives , handles, and stops like a 1963 solid lifter HiPo 327 Corvette should.
