You are bidding on a used w/ 123k mile 2006 Mercedes E350. This has been a great car for many years, but recently I've had to put more money in the car that I would like to. The last issue that it has developed, made me decide to sell it and I have not diagnosed or priced the repair. This car has a lot of new very expensive parts that I have installed in the last 12-24 months. In the last 18 months, I've installed a new MB intake manifold on the engine. This is a common problem with the E350 engine. This part is new $700 + labor. I have also installed new rotors and brake pads about 1 year ago $1000 plus labor. Also, less than a year ago, the fuel pump died and a brand new Mercedes Benz PZEV gas tank was installed $2000 + labor (also a common problems with E350). The latest issue is related to the brakes. It shows "Reduced Braking Power Depress Brakes" in red and check engine light related to the gas cap. When this happens, the car only has about 20% braking capacity. Sometimes the error goes away and it brakes normally. I have not driven the car since this started occurring and don't recommend that the person who buys it, drives it in this condition. I recommend it being towed. This car has not been involved in any real accidents. The carfax might show that a motorcycle scratched the bumper and that was fixed by his insurance. The engine runs and starts fine. There is wear and tear in the interior and I can supply more images if you like. Has power windows/GPS navigation/ working AC/ Heater/Radio/CD etc. The four low profile tires are in good condition. Let me know if you have any questions.
