In 2007, we purchased this 2007 Cadillac DTS and we have loved it ever since. As an older couple, we needed an SUV so we can sit up higher and have just purchased one… so we are selling our 2007 Cadillac DTS. Current Condition: GOOD Kelly Blue Book Estimate (private party value): $5,617 Kelly Blue Book Estimate (trade-in value): $4,212 NADA Book Estimate (average trade-in value): $5,650 NADA Book Estimate (clean trade-in value): $6,625 NADA Book Estimate (clean retail value): $9,175 Remember You Are Bidding On the Car with the Warranty This vehicle has been garaged since Day 1 and has just over 82,500 miles on it in this 10 year period of ownership. Extensive service records have been kept for this vehicle - every oil change, every tire change, every winterization! We purchased this car and have had this car serviced on-schedule at the Cadillac Dealership. The car was under manufacturer’s warranty until 36,000 miles and has been covered by an extended warranty ever since. The car still has a very comprehensive transferable warranty that is included in the sale. The car includes all the features one might expect in a Cadillac – leather seats, strong V8 engine, OnStar Capability, park assist with sensors on the front and rear bumpers, etc. Tires have plenty of tread (they are less than 1 year old). Call for any further information, to see the vehicle, to test drive the vehicle, or to make an offer. As with most cars you’ll find in NYC, there are some scratches on the bumper from parallel parking. There are also some light scratches on the driver side door (see photos). We are located in New York City. We would prefer a personal pick-up, but we will be happy to work with a shipping company if you are far away. You’ll have to arrange that, though. A delivery may also be possible if you're not too far away. INFORMATION ABOUT THE WARRANTY The warranty covers a lot of components. In brief, it covers the following: engine, transmission, transfer case, drive axle (front and rear), suspension (front and rear), steering, brakes, electrical, air conditioning, heating, engine cooling (water pump, radiator cooling fan motor, fan clutch), fuel delivery, fuel injectors, fuel tank, high tech devices, Luxury Electronics Package, seals gaskets. Narrative About the Transferable Warranty A couple of years ago, we paid $3,999 for a 5-year comprehensive warranty and it extends the coverage until March 2020 or until 122,000 miles are on the odometer. We have used less than half the time on the warranty. You will not be able to get a comprehensive warranty on a 10 year old car if we cancel it, so the warranty is included in the sale. Remember, you're bidding on a 10-year old vehicle. The warranty will give you that extra layer of confidence that you're getting a car that has been treated well and will be covered if any of the covered components breaks, goes bad or stops working anytime before March 2020 - that's over 3 years and 39,000 miles from now. New cars come with a 3 year/36,000 mile warranty.... this Cadillac comes with a 36 month/39,500 mile warranty! Previous Sale This car was already sold on Ebay two weeks ago, but we could not find the title and we had to order another copy from New York State DMV. The buyer backed out for that reason, which is understandable. We received the title a few days later and have it in-hand now, so we won't have that issue again! The values in Kelly Blue Book and NADA are for the CAR-ONLY. We are fully able to receive a refund from the warranty company for the unused portion of the warranty - which is approx. $2,300 (we have used around 39%); so we are not giving a $2,300 warranty away for free. Please think about how much you are willing to pay for the car and then add another $1,000 for the warranty - that would be a reasonable offer. In the spirit of transparency, we would be comfortable accepting trade-in value for the car + another $1,000 for the warranty, but we will not take a further loss on the car. P.S.
