Up for sale is my 1975 Honda CB550K. I've had this bike for over 10 years and have kept it well maintained and stored inside that whole time. The bike runs great and everything on the bike functions as it should. This is a great bike and I love it, but I just have too many bikes and too many hobbies. I told my wife I would sell this bike a few years ago, but I've been dragging my feet to say the least. Over the past two years though I haven't been riding it a lot so I'm going to let it go to a new home. The bike gets compliments every time I take it out. It has a mild cafe treatment but could very easily be brought back to original state if desired. No frame modifications whatsoever. I will include the following original parts if the buyer wants them: Turn signals, tail lights, mirrors, grab rails and center stand. Bike also has most of the original tool kit that will be included in sale. Also Included are a Clymer Manual and a professional shop manual. the shop manual is OEM from a dealer service area and goes well beyond the Clymer or Haynes Manuals - It's a great resource. Some of the modifications I've made to the bike include:Anodized Sun brand Rims, black in color. Purchased new from Buchanan's. The front is an 18" which makes the bike quicker into corners and has an aesthetic that i like. Overall just makes the bike feel a bit more aggressive. Tarrozzi Fork BraceNapolean Bar end Mirrors. Beautiful and highly functional/adjustable mirrors. Weighted bar ends for vibration dampening. Custom bump seat from "The Seat Guy" Jon Revilla, built on an original Pan so keys still function as they should and seat locks as it should. Profesionally drilled brake rotor. Mobike period correct hand grips. Clubman bars. Hagon ShocksShorai Lithium BatteryModern Master Cylinder, I believe it was from an FZR (old one was leaking). This will make it easy to complete the dual disk conversion I had planned but never finished. There is an extra drilled rotor included in the sale if the sale price is equal to or greater than $3,000 or if "buy it now" i selected. Bike has Bridgestone Battle Ax BT 45's with lots of tread left. Very lightly used tires like new. Each of the tanks has some small scratches but they are both clean inside and in overall good condition. One of the tanks had prior rust but has been coated by a radiator shop with a coating that will not peel, chip, or soften.The other has never been coated and is original to the bike -One Original Seat in Excellent condition. -One drilled rotor, professionally drilled and matching the rotor that is currently on the bike. I can also direct the buyer to the person who drilled the rotors and makes affordable spacers so the original speedo and tach can be used with a dual disk.-One set of OEM Hand Grips new in Bag.-Two brand new OEM Clutch Cables still in bags. Most of the bike other than those items I mentioned is stock, so if a new owner wanted they could easily restore this bike to original condition with some handlebars, an exhaust and some original wheels and fenders. You could easily fund all of those items just by selling the aftermarket rims or the spare tank.
