Revised ad 03/04/2017--A T Bird person came by, the data plate and build sheet are M Code however one visible body stamp near the grill in the front is a Z and the engine castings are not matching for an M Code car. I purchased this car about 30 years ago. It was painted red, although the factory color was chestnut with a white top. The 3X2 barrels are not there. I put it in storage for 25 years until I could get around to restoring it properly. In 2012 I pulled it out of storage, the paint still shined. I put a new gas tank in it, a new Holley, new exhaust, brakes from the master cylinder back, had the transmission gone through and all fluids changed. I just had fun driving it that summer for a few hundred miles. I got busy and didn't start the restoration. Now another 4 years went by. I realize I just have too many irons in the fire and I would like someone to restore this car properly. It leaks engine oil, and smokes a little, (seals-rings). The power brake booster stopped working in 2016 and I parked it. The car has a power drivers seat, power rear windows, push button radio, clock, and skirts. The ideal buyer will want to do some research on this car. Not sure if it started life at the assembly as an M and was a Z when it rolled out, remember these cars were hand stamped. I have attached an image of a partial of the build sheet, (a mouse enjoyed the rest). I will not ship it so pickup is your responsibility. I have set the starting price very low to start the bidding early. Please e mail any questions, the car is in Eastern Ct. There is some rust not clearly viable in the pictures and the interior door panels need some work, replace, as well as the steering wheel has some cracks as does the dash board pad.
