Vehicle Detail
Super rare Honda trials, made 1989 in small numbers by the Honda racing corporation japan. Air cooled 2 stroke 250cc, with 6 speed manual transmission. Mono shock suspension and disc brakes...This bike ran great when put in garage 3 seasons back. Easy to start, tight, nice running motor, get on it and ride bike. No clutch or transmission issues... It just needs fresh fuel and spark plug and you can ride one of the best trials bikes of its day, and the best trials bike I ever rode.... Few years ago I was injured in a motorcycle accident and cant kick this bike over any longer or ride trials, so it sat... Hate to see it go but its needs to be run and I can make better use of the money.... My reflex 200 will be next to leave... I still ride but its push button start and easy going no trials.... Why should you take my word that I parked this bike running fine not long ago and you will have it running again easily? 100% positive feedback score of 802 and counting, that's what. At the Very Most, you will need to clean the fuel bowl and jet. Fuel still smells ok....But my moneys on fresh fuel and spark plug and a good strong kick and off you go. There is a plastic cover on motor that has a crack as seen in the last pic... The cover is for a 2 stroke oil injector pump area, which was not a feature on this model. Motor has no pump nor did it ever, for this application of the motor, the cover is strictly cosmetic... There are no lights nor were they removed. the model could be ordered in Europe with speedo, and light kit so you may see one pictured online with them. This bike was used as intended, for professional trials completion, and shows some wear as to be expected...The pics show that it has survived fairly well. If you can afford it, I would not hesitate to put it in my motorcycle collection or use it for trials. You sure would turn heads at a trials meet I know I did.... Great bike!Buyer must pay deposit of 500.00 by paypal within 24 hrs and pay for bike in full with in 7 days by cash or check... checks must clear prior to bike being picked up by buyer or their shipper. seller will not crate or arrange shipping but will be available at pickup time to surrender bike.
