I purchased the car from a person in Indiana who could not pay off the loan on this car to the bank. I contacted the First Source Bank, Knox, Indiana, . The bank informed me that the best way to handle the title transfer was to come to the bank with the money and the person who was selling the car and pay off the lien to the bank and then I would own the car and the title would be sent to me. I could transfer the title to my name, but that would cost about $300.00 in ILLINOIS. I'm just flipping this car. I have the Indiana title in my possession. I don't do this for a living, I am not a dealer. I was able to drive the car for approximately 20 miles and it has good power. It stops and starts fine and runs well. No power steering or power brakes and no A/C. The starter is new to the vehicle. The car has dual exhaust which is newer. The steering and front end suspension both seem in good condition. I believe it is a 350 cubic inch(there is NO guarantee that it is a 350) motor, until I check the engine block #'s. Engine has a 2 barrel carburetor . I do not know the mileage on the engine or when it was replaced. There are no visible leaks, from the engine, transmission or bell housing. The body is very straight, with no visible damage. There is no rust showing on any of the outside body panels. Wheels and tires appear to be in good shape. On inspecting the frame, there appears to be no collision damage. The trunk floor is in good condition with some minor rust on the higher ledge of the trunk floor. The interior is in poor condition and needs cosmetic WORK! Dash is good. The headliner is in good condition. The radio is not original but new(not chevy) All gauges, turn signals, lights, wipers, windows(up and down),radio and heater work. I did not test the horn. The car has been repainted by an amateur. There is no glass that is cracked or broken. I have the actual title to the car . I currently have all the documents from the bank assigning the title to me as the owner. I have the original title. Indiana title. Sold as is.
