*** Updated 1/28/17** Today I started and drove the car about 20 miles. She had been sitting for appx. 30 days and started up perfectly. I have had a lot of questions about the car and condition. If this was a perfect show car the price would be $15K or more. This car is a very solid 2 owner car that is in very good original condition. The paint is original however the bottom darker parts were repainted by Ford under warranty per the previous owner about 18 years ago. If you know anything about these cars, this was common. I also did a hand wax on the car today. I did stop on the drivers door where it meets the rear quarter to show how much the original paint shines when properly waxed. If you were to buff the paint professionally, it would be even better. I 1991 Mustang GT 5.0 87,000 original miles with only 3 owners. In reality this car only has had 2 owners as the first 2 were a father/son. It's very unusual that these items work! The car has it's original paint and is in very good condition. I buffed a small section which really made the paint shine. Body is perfect, no dents or dings. There are 2 spots that will need attention. Just below the gas cap is showing some very small surface rust. I do believe a good buffing will take this out. Additionally where the rear deck lid goes into the trunk lid has 2 small rust spots. This is the ONLY rust I can find on the car. Under the car is very clean as well. There is no road rash on rims as well. Interior of the car is in very good condition. No cracks in dash, no rips in seats. Carpet very good. The only thing I can find wrong with the interior is the top of the back seat is a bit faded which you can see in the picture. There is interior spray paint made for fabric that could fix this for less than $10. I didn't want to mask or hide it. Engine is very strong and runs very well. As you can see from the pictures it's been upgraded. I have all original parts that will go with car as well as some additional parts. I pride myself that I make every attempt to describe items I sell as honest as I can. The car will need the following:* Front sway bar reattached. I have it with original bolts*Heater Core*Speedometer jumps all over the place, will need to be replaced*Rear tires are slicks--I have a 2 new rear tires that are included in the purchase. *Low coolant light on. Coolant is fine, does not leak, appears to be sensor. CAR DOES NOT RUN HOT OR LEAK COOLANT! These are the only things I am aware of that will need attention. It's very rare to find a 1991 in this condition with everything working as expected. As you can see from the pictures the engine has some mods to it to include headers. I have originals that will go with car. The previous owners would take the car on the weekends and run on the track which is why it had slicks. I have a ton of original parts that go with the car.
