Economical, dependable transportation. This 1997 Ford Ranger Splash is driven daily and has no current mechanical issues, including COLD AC. The paint is faded and oxidized on the hood, roof and tonneau cover but the body is solid and rust free. It has a one year old Pioneer stereo with bluetooth connectivity, hands free phone and USB port for charging or IPod/IPhone connection. All 4 speakers are also new. It has a 5 speed manual transmission and a 1.3 Liter 4 cylinder engine and has a frame mounted 2" receiver hitch. There is a full sized spare tire under the bed. 2 tires have decent tread and 2 are nearing the point where they should be replaced. I have driven at least once a month to VA and back (~600 miles round-trip) over the last year with no issues whatsoever. This truck is basic with manual windows and no cruise control.
