This Triumph is in good condition considering it is 40 years old and appears to have only had the tank repainted.It starts easily and runs great!It would be a great bike to put some new tires on and enjoy it like it is.Or, its a great foundation for a restoration project. I am amazed there is little to no rust on the chrome surfaces and minimal rust on frame and other parts for its age and having never been restored. Here are some details The GoodFrame & engine VIN match.The paint job on the gas tank is VERY nice. Inside is clean.Side covers appear to be original paint and in great shape.Engine sounds very good.The rims are in incredible shape, the spokes are fare to good, some of the nipples are slightly rusted.Front fender chrome is excellent however there are 2 small dents.Seat is in good shape with some tears at the very front where it meets the tank (can't see when down)Brakes work as they should.Head light and tail light/brake light work properly.Idles well and choke works as it should. The BadThe rear fender is straight but will need re-chromed.Missing turn signals- wiring is there (aprox. $80 for non OEM, $200 for OEM)There is a very small dent at the front, right side of the gas tank, not very noticeableThe headlight trim ring is scraped, needs replacedThe left side exhaust is in pretty good shape, the right side has some scratches and batteryacid stains. (However I don't see any rust)Small exhaust leak at wing collar on left side.Leaks a few drops of oil over a weeks time.Needs tires.
