1980 Honda CX500 Custom by Retro Rebuilds. This bike is a beauty and a very classy head turner. Many hours went into this bike to bring it back to this condition, from replacing bolts to polishing and refinishing. The external engine components were removed and professionally stripped, primed, powder coated and then clear coated for a high gloss, durable finish. The gas tank was also professionally stripped, primed and smoothed, then a 3 stage powder coat, Black, Red and Clear coated. Chrome pieces were removed, buffed and polished. Electrical components were relocated and original wiring was either shortened or lengthen while still maintaining the factory connections, updated electronic flasher also installed. Carbs were cleaned, synced, rebuilt and re-jetted for greater performance over stock. The bike starts easy and runs great with lots of power and impressive sound, video link available by request.
