Up For Bid is a 1964 Chevy C10. I pulled this truck from a barn in Texas a true barn find. I drive this truck several days a week and not afraid to take it on the interstate. Needs a little more loving to be finished, but really they are never finished. You do not see many long wheel base step sides around. Rocker panel are in good shape some rust in the floor and front fenders as you can see in the pictures. Turns heads every time I take it out. Starts right up, will smoke a little if it sits for a while. I will list all items that have been done and also list the few things that are left. Paint & Body: Sanded down and cleared with a matte finish. Just recently had the interior painted. Yes there are a few rust holes near the windshield that were not fixed but that is they way I wanted it. Engine: New Starter, Alternator, Points Distributor, Water Pump with thermostat, new Coolant Hoses. Oil Pan Gasket, Timing Cover Gasket, Harmonic Balancer, Valve Cover Gasket. Carb. professionally rebuilt. Suspension: Dropped 3 in the front and 5 in the rear. Double adjustable trac bar. New lowering shocks. Good ride for a 52 year old truck. Brakes: Everything from front to back on the brake system is new lines, hoses etc. Everything. Still drum brakes in the front. Fuel: New manual fuel pump. New gas tank relocated to the rear under the bed. New lines. and Carb rebuilt. Misc. Items: The wood bed is my on twist all cedar. Tires are fairly new and in great shape. Items that need attention: Door Gaskets, Speedo not working, Fuel Gauge not hooked up, real main leaks a little. Not original seat covered, but seat is in good shape just red. Main item is that when in 2nd gear transmission whines a little shifts into gears without any problems. Please Feel Free and Ask Question Before Bidding.
