KBB does not have a value for the Hyper Blue Series so don't try to convince me otherwise. Clean trade in at a dealership is $34,150. No, you cannot buy a brand new one for cheaper. A comparably equipped 2017 STI is $40,000 just as this one was brand new. In addition to this, all dealers added a "market adjustment" to the addendum in the amount of $2,000-$4,000. This adjustment was made for the limited quantity produced, and every single one of them sold at this price. When buying from a dealer, you also have additional charges for Doc fee, Sales tax, and DMV fees. I can provide a Car Fax report at no cost to you. This is my second WRX and I will always be a huge fan of the WRX line and will buy another. Subaru, if you are reading this, you make phenomenal product, but we do need more power with the next generation STI. Those of you interested in buying will be doing so with the reassurance that it is money well spent and you will also get a lot back out in the future when you go to resell it. Unless of course you are 16 years old and your parents are stupid enough to buy this for you...then in that case the scrap yard will also pay you a high resell value. I knew that I would resell it at some point so I left the powertrain completely stock. Like many buyers, when buying a pre-owned sports car I want it to be completely stock and untampered with so that's how it is...with one exception. I have added RCE Yellow lowering springs that were professionally installed at a dealership to improve handling and give it that perfect ride height. In my experience the RCE Yellows are the best lowering springs for this car. They do not require additional parts for camber adjustment and they maintain the best ride quality. I have the OEM springs and will provide with the car. Ride height with the RCE's is 4in. The car is kept very clean with a full professional detail every two weeks and a wax every two months at most. You can also see from the photos that I have added black gloss vinyl to the roof and side vents. Again, this was professionally installed and easily removable. I also have the original window sticker for the next owner as well.
