1985 Mazda RX7 GSL-SE - Selling because I have compressed disks in my lower lumbar down to my sacral spine. Unless I modify the seats (which destroys the beautiful burgundy interior) to get more lumbar support, or utilize some kind of extra cushioning (which looks ridiculous), driving the car puts a lot of strain on my lower back. I am sure another fellow enthusiast would definitely appreciate the car, I hate to let this car just sit. I have another RX7, a turbo convertible and the leather seats are just about the perfect support for my lower back so I still get to enjoy my love for rotary's. May take a trade plus cash depending on condition for another Mazda vehicle. We are a Mazda only family, Must be manual, Must have cold AC and Hot Heat, and a clean interior with no rips in the seats preferably. What I am interested in is perhaps another Miata, FC RX7 (non-Turbo), Older Mazda MX6 (from the late 80's early 90s), Mazda 323 hatch, Mazda Protege (2000 and up), Mazda Tribute, Mazda B-series truck with extended cab, Mazda 3 hatch. Next is: the last 500 or so gsl-se models built all came with color matching mirrors (vice black) and they also came with bronze tinted glass from the factory. This is the original paint and all of the bronze glass is intact meaning every piece from the windshield to rear hatch. Everything is original to the car. No this gsl-se does not come with.the optional factory power steering. It has a manual steering rack which in my opinion is much better than recirculating ball power steering they had available. Steering is very responsive, light and does not have the huge dead zone.the power steering racks are known to have to answer another question: hi thanks, sorry it took me a minute to answer your question, I was a bit busy and didnt have the time to check my phone. There is not undercarriage rust that i know of, I jacked the car up when i replaced the transmission and differential fluid and didnt notice any. as for the body the only rust you can see is a few spots here and there of running rust and there is some running rust on the bottom of the doors. its nothing a fresh paint job can't fix. it is the original paint after all. Other than that the only real other imperfection i can think of is there is a tear in the driver side bolter, easily repairable by sewing it back together and you wont even notice. other than that the interior is clean as it can get.
