FOR SALE: 1966 REAL SS 396 Convertible Chevelle, This is a Nice Driver Quality Chevelle, (not perfect its older restoration) but a True SS that runs and drives Great! and has Awesome Color Combo,Dark Blue w/ White Top and White Interior. Paint is probably 25 years old but still is Slick with no orange peel, there is a ding in right quarter near top edge that a Good Dent guy could push out, paint on deck lid has a few small blisters (Not Rust) just from the aging. Body is Straight . No Rust Bubbles or signs of rust in the body. Frame is Solid as a Rock and Straight No Signs of ever being wrecked. Interior is Very nice ,looks like carpet,seat covers and doorpanels,etc have been replaced @ some point. Convertible Top Looks New. also a New White Boot for covering top when down. Options are: Power Disc Brakes, Power Steering, AfterMarket am/fm/cd, aftermarket Gauges. Manual convt top, front and rear Sway Bars, Aluminum Radator, New 8in corvette Rallys & New Tires, Engine is a Correct 396ci Possibly a 360hp according to last owner, (cast# 3855961) this could be original engine but block is decked and No numbers visible. Engine Sounds Awesome with larger cam and exhaust is Headers & duel FlowMasters. Trans has been up graded to turbo 400 3sp automatic. Rear end is correct 12-Bolt ,with what feels like a 3.73 gear. This Chevelle Run's and Drives GREAT with NO Problems! Fires right up ! NO Smoke! No Leaks! NO Engine Noise! Trans Shifts Great ,again NO problems! Run's down the Road Straight and Smooth.
