Up for auction is a 1986 Chevrolet K5 Blazer 4 wheel Drive in excellent restored condition. This is the nicest blazer you will find. I have a lot of cars in my collection and I hate to sell this one because it is the nicest K5 I have seen. I spent a lot of time and care restoring this blazer and I hope the new owner will enjoy it. I have to many vehicles and it is time to let some of my vehicles go.The Body is a rust free South Carolina Blazer that has 1 repaint and it is excellent and straight. There are no rust spots or repairs anywhere. The repaint is the original white with a factory blue insert and silver pin striping. It has all new lenses and headlights. The chrome side trim is new. The window chrome and gaskets are also new. The windshield is new. The door handles are new. The rear lock bezel is NOS GM. The bumpers are new. The emblems are the original and have been restored. All of the weatherstripping and seals are new. The glass is all excellent except for the rear glass which has some scratches. I have the towing hitch setup for the truck that I will include with the truck. The truck is wired for a trailer. The tires are new factory height tires. The wheels have been restored with new paint, new bezels, new center caps and new lug nuts. Mechanically the truck is excellent. The original 305 was replaced with a GM Goodwrench 350. It has 1500 miles on it. It runs excellent. The original carburetor has been switch for a now electronic rochester quadrajet. If you want the original carb I have it. I switch the carb because I did not want to deal with the computer. The air pump has been removed. The truck runs excellent. NO smoking or oil leaking. The AC system has been completely replaced including AC lines, compressor, condenser and converted to 134a. It blows ice cold. The truck has been converted to a Th400 turbo transmission. The transmission is rebuilt with 30 miles on it and comes with a 36K warranty. It was converted the correct way with the correct trans mount, brackets and a B&M kickdown kit for passing gear that is operated off the carburetor. The NP208 transfer case is rebuilt with 30 miles on it. All of the steering and suspension has been rebuilt or replaced and has 30 miles on it. There are new shocks, tie rods sway bar mounts and bushings, etc. The truck has new energy suspension body mounts. The truck has a completely new factory exhaust with a new catalytic converter and a turbo muffler. The engine also has new cast iron manifolds. The AIR tubes have been blocked off. The interior has been completely restored. The seats has been recovered in factory vinyl. The carpet is new throughout. The headliner is new. The dashed is new. The door panels, console, seatbelts, rear sail panels and dash have been restored. All of the gauges work. The rear power tailgate works. All functions in the dash work properly. The cruise works. All accessories function properly. Horn works. The radio is an aftermarket pioneer unit and sounds great. The spare tire bracket has been restored and the original spare tire had a new cover that matches the carpet installed. Like I said before, this is the nicest K5 blazer you will find. As you can tell from the pictures of the underneath of the truck, it is in excellent condition.
