I am offering a 2000 Mazda MX-5 Miata. This car was owned by my Mother-in-law who had purchased the car in February 2003. She was the second owner. Unfortunately she is no longer able to drive which is why we are selling the car. It has just over 82K miles and runs and drives very well. I drove it 300 miles to our place last weekend and it performed beautifully. I have a copy of the Car Fax which I can provide. The car has had 2 owners and no accidents. Mechanically the car is in very good condidion The tires have 80% tread and everything works except the passenger side fog lamp which needs to be replaced. The body in my opinion is fair. There is no rust that I could find however I counted about 15 tiny dents (parking lot and/or stone dents). I am sure there might be more. They could all be PDRed. The bottom of the front spoiler is scraped up. The passenger side front bumper looks like it was scraped. The bottom drivers side spoiler is cracked. The drivers side rear bumper is scraped with a small indent. The back of the bumper is scraped up. And the back of the trunk is dented, however does not effect the opening or closing of the trunk lid. I have tried to capture these defects in the pictures. The roof is vinyl and is in good condition. The roof is manual and is completely functional. The interior is in good shape. The most wear can be seen on the drivers seat where there is some cracking in the leather but no tares. The center console door works but one of the hinges is loose. The wheels are in pretty good condition, you can see where the finish is starting to come off on a the center wheel caps. Carmax offered me $2,200 for the car today. I am offering the car with a starting bid of $2,300 to cover my costs of selling on ebay. I would keep the car but I am not a Mazda guy.
