For sale NO RESERVE a real nice solid all original 1955 GMC short bace Panel truck. I got this in the spring for a cool old Rat Rod driver it has been a lot of fun all year. The motor was rebuilt years ago it is the original. It is the GMC 248 straight 6 cyl. with three on the tree stick shift. This truck runs and drives great it was always very well maintained. This spent most of it's life in Texas till this year so it has very minimum rust the only rust on this is on the lower rear 1/4 panels just on the very bottoms and is not bad at all super easy fix if you chose two. All the doors and rockers and floors are unreal solid even the original wood floor is unreal super nice so nice you could sand and stain it. This would look awesome. This truck is super straight even the roof must see. This truck looks like it has had just one repaint a very long time ago and it has faded back to the original green color this looks cool as hell as,is. The fuel and temp gauges do not work all other gauges and speedometer work fine. Wipers work heater even the old tube radio works but needs antenna. It has a crack in the windshield and side passenger glass gives it character. This has new tires and even the original GMC hubcaps. This was originally ordered with only one seat. This will make a great Rat Rod or Shop truck for advertising. This truck is a lot of fun just as is gets more attention than a restored Hot rod most people these days think it's a space ship they have never seen these there that rare. These old GMC Panels are so ugly there COOL this has a lot of patina. You can leave this like it is clear coat it or do a full blown custom with it. You will have a real hard time finding one of these this straight and this solid that has not been restored. I have had a lot of fun with this but the wife wants her truck in the garage before the snow fly's. Please ask all ?s before you bid this is an old truck sold as,is. OK I had a couple of emails if the frame is solid and yes it is super solid just very lite surface rust that brushes off with your hand this is from the south for sure I added a picture of the frame like I said it is nice.
