For sale , 1942 Ford Super Deluxe 2 door sedan . Older restoration late 80 s or early 90 s then it sat in dry storage for over 10 years with gas in the tank . I had to replace the gas tank , fuel line , fuel pump , carb over haul , distributor over haul , and brakes all the way around including master cyl. I also installed turn signals . The old flathead runs and drives great and every thing works except the odometer , clock , radio , and heater (I never bothered to hook it up) . I can only think of 2 negatives , noisy rear suspension (every old ford that I have ever driven had the same problem) , and it leaks enough oil to mark it's territory on my garage floor . The car is located in Adel, Iowa . I was born in 1942 and all ways wanted a car that was as old as I am . In 2010 my dream came true after years of searching , and it was a labor of love to put this car back on the road , but poor health has taken that away from me , and it is becoming more and more difficult for me to drive it , so it is time for someone ells to enjoy my 42 .
