Listed in this auction is a 1979 IH Scout II. ********NO RESERVE. BID TO WIN.......******** This is a great project truck and/or great part harvester. 36k miles on the odometer but most likely 136k. Truck runs great and tranny and axles all in great shape. New dual exhaust pipes and mufflers. Frame has surface rust but structurally sound. You could get in and drive the truck anytime. Restore it as you enjoy it. The bad and the good are as follows: BAD 1. Body mounts are rusted2. Driver side door post rotted so door sags3. Windshield frame rusted out – new frame included in auction ($375 value)4. Rockers below doors rusted out – new rockers included in this auction ($400 value)5. Front panels have rust around wheel wells and presumed in rear wheel wells also (under fender flares)6. Needs a little tune up7. Fuel gauge inoperable – all other gauges work GOOD· Clean and unencumbered title· Engine: 304 V8 that runs great and starts up like it’s fuel injected. [Needs carb adjustment]· Carb: new but needs adjusting, new 4-barrel Quadrajet· Doors and windows in great shape· Roof and hatch in great shape; original roof rack in decent shape; inside plastic panels in great shape· 5 chrome Rallye wheels in great shape; tires have plenty of life left· Hood in great shape· a/c unit and components operable but needs work to bring alive· Velour seats (buckets in front, bench in back) in great shape, albeit slightly faded· Transmission shifts great and smooth· Dana 4x4 axles in great shape; 4x4 hubs on front wheels fully operable· Chrome bumpers in great shape· New dual exhaust pipes/mufflers I am listing this car for a friend so any questions please call him directly at 646-361-8978 his name is Dave.
