This is a very rare 1971 Ford Mustang Mach 1 429 Super Cobra Jet with original engine (partial vin# on the block), original RUG AZ 1 close ratio 4-Speed transmission (with partial vin), J-code Ram-Air, Drag Pac Car. Marti report verified 1 of 1 car. This is not a Barrett Jackson quality car but is a decent restoration which runs and drives great. Original carburetor D1ZF-9510-YA is nicely restored. The distributor is not original. No oil cooler parts or speedometer gear reducer. Restored in 2002-2003. Engine and transmission rebuilt then. Only 1500 miles added since. The difference in engine photos shows the ram air breather housing set on the carb but ram air parts are not hooked up. They come with the car. Breather snorkel is not original. Many other extra parts or new in box parts go with car. The original N-case rear housing goes with the car. Currently running 3.50 gears in a traction-lok rear. I have all but two small pieces of original exterior stainless steel trim (goes between the black and red paint on lower body around the sides). Stainless steel valves added during engine rebuild.
