Vehicle Detail
1974 BMW 2002; it is Factory Black with a newly rebuilt motor, this is a fantastic car to drive. I have done a lot to the car and it is ready to be a great daily driver or be taken to the next level. Please let me know if you have any questions or would like to come see it in person for a test drive, I respond quickly to texts, calls, and emails.Features/Specs:Engine/Drive-trainRebuilt Motor – 180 psi of compression in all 4 cylinders Motor is an M10, Head is and E1232/36 Weber carburetorTubing headerANSA Sport exhaustTii mechanical advance distributorHead studsNew SACHS new clutch and pressure plate4 speed gearboxCarter fuel pumpSuspensionBilstien HD shocks front and rearAftermarket springsTii strutsTii trailing armsFull urethane bushingsIreland engineering sway bars – 22mm w/adjustable rearKMAC adjustable front camber platesWheels are in great shape and tires have 60-70% tread leftBrakesFront - 5 series calipers with new vented floating rotors, new padsRear – 320i drums, new shoesNew Stainless steel solid and flexible lines throughoutNew master cylinderSystem fully flushed less than 100 miles ago.BodyDriver and passenger side floor pans replacedDrivers side frame rail replacedRear shock-towers have been repairedInteriorNew carpetMatching Recaro front seatsBack seat is like newDashboard has no sun damage or cracks (garage kept car)Working Sunroof but finickyI tried to capture how rough the paint is in the photos, this car needs a paint job if you are going to do a restoration, the body is absolutely rust free. The gas gauge works intermittently and should be replaced at some point. The heater box does not leak so I didn't replace it, but it does need a new control linkage. I've tried to include absolutely everything someone would want to know about this car, let me know if you have ANY questions, or would like any extra photos. I am very flexible in terms of showing and test driving the car. If you have been looking around at 02's there are a lot of mystery cars out there, I think this one is a gem. Thanks!
