Vehicle Detail
Please read entire listing before bidding please. For auction at no reserve is my 1976 Ford F-350 Super Camper Special pickup truck. 460 big block V8 engine. Automatic transmission. Odometer reads 25,000. Could be 125,000. I don't know. Power steering and brakes. Front and rear stabilizer bars. 140" wheel base. Not very many of these were made. A rare model. 10,000 gvw rating. Original paint. No body work has ever been done to this truck. It was also ziebart rust proofed. I purchased this truck not running. The previous owner said it ran when it was parked many years ago. The truck does not run. The engine turns over with the key but does not fire. I have made no attempt to try and get it running and don't have a clue why it won't start. Battery is good. Oil was full and clean when I purchased the truck. All lights and signals seem to work properly. Brake pedal is a little squishy but, the brakes are working. Steering feels tight. It has 2 gas tanks. One is removed but I have it. Previous owner removed it because it leaked. For auction at no reserve, so please only bid if you truly want the truck. Cash payment in person and pickup within 14 days of the end of auction. I will do my best to assist with loading. It rolls easily but does not run or drive. Solid old truck in great shape. Had a topper on it all its life so the bed floor is excellent. Pickup in Hastings, Michigan. Clean numbers matching title in my name. Feel free to ask any questions you may have . I am quiet busy but will do my best to answer them.On Oct-19-16 at 15:32:02 PDT, seller added the following information: I had someone look at the truck today. While cranking the engine over with the starter we noticed that the engine makes a low "tunk" noise each time it rolls over. I had not noticed this before. We could not tell exactly where the noise is coming from. Seems like it was an internal noise from inside the engine. I don't want to be dishonest or hide anything from anybody. I'm sorry for any inconvenience. If you have already bid and find this unacceptable please feel free to cancel your bid. The truck is still for auction at no reserve. I encourage anyone interested in the truck to come check it out before bidding. It is a solid old truck in great shape that deserves to be back on the road again. It's definitely something special. Thanks everyone for your interest.
