I have enjoyed this car over the last 8 years however, it is time to make room in the garage for a new toy. This Monte Carlo is an original low mileage (currently 40k) very unique SS being an Aerocoupe in black with the gold trim. The interior is all original and very clean including locking T-Tops which still work along with original T-Top bag. This is a great car to enjoy taking to cruise nights and car shows which will require very little work beside putting gas in the tank. As you can see in the pictures this car is extremely straight and very well-cared for. I have won several trophy's in local shows and receive several complements every time I take it for a drive. While working in Florida I purchased this car after I had found it being stored in a barn. Since then I have had the body completely repainted through a two year process and had it finished in the original color with all factory stripes and decals replaced. I have also had a GM Performance 350ci 290 HP crate motor installed to replace the factory 305, this engine has approximately 500 miles it. I took the time to have all the factory emissions components installed to keep the original look. I have also replaced using genuine GM parts; shocks, brakes, door lock actuators, window motors and weather stripping. Exhaust is a Flowmaster cat-back system. The factory AM/FM Cassette with graphic equalizer has been restored as have the wheels which are wrapped in Goodyear Eagle 1 yellow letter tires. Being a 30 year old car there are some small issues; the title is listed as being reconstructed and previously abandoned. the Carfax does show an accident from 1998. The underneath of this car is very straight and sold (there is no sign of frame damage). Also the AC needs to be fixed which is most likely just seals. The Speedometer only works to around 30 mph however, the odometer is in working condition. I do have pictures of the body being repainted along with pictures showing the undercarriage.
