Vehicle Detail

Here is a fine uncut (rear fenders still there) 1972 Ford Bronco, 4wd, it is in the 1/2 cab set up now, but was originally a full cab, I do not have the original top, this is how I got it. The Bronco appears to only have 1 repaint since new, it was originally a bright yellow, which you can see any where the paint is chipped, especially under the hood and behind the grill and underneath. Paint starting to show some wear, chips and scratches , etc. The hood has some dings and small dents in it, the front of the hood has a small dent behind the diamond plate wind deflector. We did just repaint the bed and floor lining because it was showing yellow from chipping there too. This Bronco is pretty rust free, the only repairs I have seen is to the floors where a previous owner patched the angle part with sheet metal, (ie.. under the pedals and same spot at the passenger side, and right in front of the passenger seat) this should be redone as they just used regular straight metal, not a patch panel, but seems to be solid, none of the body bolts were affected with this repair. The under side is pretty good, needs cleaning and painting, the frame has some surface scale but easily cleaned. Rockers are in good shape too, I took pics because it has the diamond plate scuff protectors under the doors, I also took a couple of pictures with them off so you can see them (rust free) This Bronco was originally a v8 with a 3 speed on the column, but it was converted to an automatic sometime in its life. I had a rebuilt 302 crate motor (from around a 91 mustang gt). Along with an Eldebrock intake and 4 barrel carb. A little over a year ago, I have put less than 2000 miles on it since then. It runs good. I also had power disc brakes on the front and power drum rear installed, factory Ford type. I spent about $9000.00 on the motor and brake system along with a few other odds and ends. The Transmission is a C4 it works as it should, it was in it when I got it, so I am not sure show old it is. Leaks a small amount from around the dip stick area. The transfer case was in it as well. I believe it has a 9" ford rear and a dana front differential. Have had all fluids changed out when the motor was put in. Guages work, wipers work, heat and defrost work somewhat, could use some tinkering with Im sure, but I don't drive it in bad weather. Does not have AC. Radio powers up but no sound, not sure if the speaker is there or even hooked up. (haven't really cared) The seats are in decent shape, no tears or holes, but showing age as well. Windows all work and no cracks. The doors should be adjusted because you have to slam the doors when the windows are shut, I guess the small cab but probably need to be adjusted anyhow, for the best fit. Locks work, have keys. It has a 4 to 6" lift kit with taller springs installed, looks like it was done right. The wheels will polish up I lightly polished the rear riverside and it shined pretty good but I did not spend much time on it. The tires have plenty of tread left on them too. I have the mileage listed at 185385, but I am not sure, it seems reasonable that it would have turned over at least once and the odometer does work, but this is a guess at this point, I bought this truck out of Texas and I believe it came from Arizona before that but I cannot remember for sure other than it is a mid west car that I was told was on a hunting camp for years. I have only had it for about 3 years. This is not a show truck but could be if taken to the next level, I am moving and will not have room to keep it, unfortunately! I believe I have covered it but, please ask questions, there is no warranty as this is a 44 year old used truck. I reserve the right to pull the listing and sell it locally. There will be a reserve but a very reasonable one at that. I will help your shipper anyway that I can, I am available most any time to meet them. I will not deliver, and don't ask if the truck can make it across the USA, because I don't know, I drive it all over town but I haven't traveled cross country with it. LOL!!
