The Cutlass/442 platform was know to build good handling cars with a spacious interior and modern options. They were referred to as the "Luxury" muscle car. This car has been kept dry for most of its life, and it shows. The metal is in outstanding condition, including rock solid original floor, frame and trunk.The interior is also very clean for a 45 year old car. FACTORY OPTIONS Include- Power Disk Brakes, Power Steering and Seat. Inside adjustable mirrors. Power Windows,Tilt Steering Wheel. The AC and cruise are not hooked up. MODERN HOT ROD UPGRADES- 442 fiberglass hood, shaved door handles, smoothed body with emblems removed, Hotchkis front and rear anti-sway bars. UMI chrome-molly tubular rear control arms with summit springs and coil over shocks. 2 1/2" performance exhaust with super-flow mufflers. Aluminum Radiator with electric fans, electric fuel pump. ENGINE AND DRIVETRAIN UPGRADES- Fresh 455 ci engine, edelbrock heads, roller rockers, coated headers, gear drive, HEI ignition, Th 400 "switch-pitch" trans, 10 bolt posi-track rear. The car is a nice tribute to the high performance 442 as it has the upgrades to make it a true muscle car. The car was stripped down and painted with DuPont base/ clear products The car shows well, with a clean nice shine, but it is a older paint job and has some nicks and chips. This is a project car as it does needs minor items, i.e. wiper motor, front bumper, and some trim items. The car is a turn key driver that can be enjoyed as it is tinkered on.
