This is a TRUE, PHS documented 1965 Pontiac GTO. Very solid and clean car. It was originally a 389 with a 3 speed floor shift, but now has a 68 Pontiac 400 (WT motor) with an automatic in it. The engine runs very strong and power steering is flawless. Hurst shifter, and original Posi rear end. It can use some going over, or drive it as it is. It has a small area in the drivers door that has some bondo in it, but other than that, it is all steel! Trunk pan has a couple of pencil eraser size holes in it. Has new upholstery inside, newer carpet, new headliner and sail-panels. Protect-a-Plate. Original 5 spoke mags. I have the original steering wheel for it. I drive this car on occasion, but not too often as to keep the mileage low!! And yes, it turns heads every time i drive it! This is a Coupe, which is the rarest of 65 GTO's with just over 8000 produced!! PHS certification documents included in the sale. This is a no reserve Auction, so highest bidder will own this GTO.
