Nice first year Porsche Boxster selling at no reserve. If you've ever wanted to have a Porsche, then this would be a great way to enter into the Porsche world without breaking the bank. It is important to note that you won't be getting a stripped-out base model, either. Nope, this particular car has some of the more desired and rare options available at that time. Fastidiously kept by me and its previous owners, this is a nice California car (please take the time to check out the photos to see how truly beautiful this little German jewel is!). Has a new convertible top in Black Haartz Sonnendeck material ($1150), new Bosch AGM battery ($200) and new car cover ($200). Starts, runs, shifts, and stops well with no "service" or "check engine" type lights. (Keep in mind, however, it is nearing 20 years old, so it isn't perfect and obviously shouldn't be looked upon as a new car no matter how nice it looks, as it has squeaks and rumbles that it most likely didn't have when showroom fresh. As with any used car purchase, you are strongly encouraged to come view and check out the car in person, or have a designated agent come assess the vehicle for you. For a comparison, dig out your latest Penny Saver and see what vanilla car $6900 will get you these days - and I can say with the utmost confidence it probably won't look anywhere as nice as this little Porsche! You could literary take this to your local car show, display it and be quite proud (deservedly) of your ride - try that with the Penny Saver car!) Here are some of the particulars: The original price with all options was $50,646 (almost $9K in options). Finished in the hard-to-find optional upgrade color, “Arena Red metallic” paint ($805), this car also features the “Sport Touring” package (factory price: $5586) which includes a vast array of thoughtful trim upgrades as well as extensive tech upgrades. The striking Porsche factory upgrade 17” “Sport Classic” wheel package is a very nice and quite pricey option ($2490). Optional Porsche colored-crest hub center caps are also included. These beautiful staggered-width (7” front / 8.5” rear) factory alloy wheels are wrapped with fresh top-of-the-line Michelin Pilot Sport PS2 tires. (205/50/17 up front and meaty 255/40/17 ’s on the rear). This wheel / tire package makes a huge improvement in appearance and handling compared to the standard 16” wheels with 225s at all four corners.
