Vehicle Detail
Please do not ask questions or text regarding this vehicle until you have read the description completely. Then be sure to bid on this Holiday Coupe that is complete with original build sheet, polygard rust proofing brochure and receipt. Then you would be the 4th owner of this vehicle that has never been in an accident! Get fuel to the engine and drive anywhere! But Keep In Mind. This car is being listed as a project, used, as is. It is obvious care was taken to attempt to be open and honest about the items needing attention as well as this vehicles good points. Even so it is quite possible and likely that I missed a thing or to at both ends of the spectrum. So please ask questions early if you think of any and we will be sure to address them. Brakes stop nice Drives Straight Floats like a boat Nice 2dr floor shift model Oldsmobile. I believe all or most the pieces are there. Car driven daily (still plated till 01/17) 160 amp alternator electric choke New HD window motor (drivers side) Passenger motor works great also. alarm and power locks HD (truck) cooling fan. New radiator installed 2-3 years ago. New Brake Master Cylinder Car has 8.5" Chevy rear end road master spindles and rotors. So upgraded to 12" rotors 5 on 5 bolt pattern to match rear end bolt pattern. Drive shaft shortened and balanced by shaft masters down around Lincoln park mi. (have receipt for work done) Car comes with original ac mounting brackets and core compressor. Also included is a disassembled 1970 558 cast block (windowless mains) a matching nodular crankshaft, and a pair of Oldsmobile #5 cylinder heads 64cc (best flowing stock heads for Oldsmobile) old 10.25:1 compression motor! Alpine Head Unit installed and banging out notes through the original rear deck speakers. wiring in place for dash speakers. The shift T handle I bought a couple of years ago off the bay and paid nicely for it. I never properly installed it. Lights work, Brake lights, turn signals and hazards all work. The interior lamps work but are out now they mostly install in the bottom dash panel which is included just not installed. Speedometer and msx (was inoperative). Plan was to install a speed hut GPS speedo. So what ever gears being ran would not matter. If unfamiliar with speedhut products check out there website and you will see what I mean. The back up lamps do not work. horn inoperative air inoperative cruise inoperative Trans is Th350. Hits 3 gears but is either on the way out or needs attention Car has original 350 rocket carbureted. The engine is not getting fuel. I installed a new fuel pump filter, even a original replacement line between the pump and the carb. Pump is working but doesn't seem to be getting to the bowl?? Runs on prime of course. I would say a blockage in the float bowl needle maybe?
