1965 Chevy Impala SS with a 396 and a 4 speed. This is a TRUE SS not a clone. 12 bolt posi rear end. Title in hand. The car has the following new parts (new as in the last 6 months): Engine:- New Edelbrock intake manifold - MSD HEI distributor - Edelbrock 650 CFM carburetor- Spark plugs and plug wires- Hooker headers- Champion Racing aluminum radiator - New hoses and belts - Electronic fuel pump (installed in rear of car)- Power steering pump Transmission: - New Muncie M20 transmission 2.56 1st gear wide - Bellhousing/clutch fork - RAM Performance Clutch- Hurst competition shifter w/linkage pit pack- Flywheel- Starter motor- New clutch linkage Exhaust: - New Flowmaster 2.5 inch exhaust system - Flowmaster Super 40 mufflers - Hooker headers (listed above) Charging System: - New alternator- Battery - Voltage regulator - Wiring Suspension: - New heavy duty rear coil springs- Gabriel HiJackers adjustable rear shocks - Center link tie rod- Polyurethane sway bar end bushings Tires/Rims: - New 17 inch American Racing chrome wheels - Pirelli 245/50R17 tires (less than 500 miles) Exterior: - New paint/body work (completed July 1st 2016) - Door handles- Side mirrors - Rear trunk panel molding with new SS emblems- New "super sport" fender emblems- Hand painted/repaired 396 turbo jet emblems - Tail light lens/bezel/gasket/bulbs - Wheel well trim molding- Rear chrome bumper set- Hand painted/repaired Front grill Interior: - Door sill scuff plate molding - Arm rests on door panels- Window crank handles- Rear seatbelts- Trunk seal - SpeedoCable Undercarriage: - Entire undercarriage has been treated with Eastwood's encapsulator spray All receipts have been saved for any new parts and fully documented. This will come with the car to show a history of upgrades. The 396 engine itself is solid and has plenty of life to it. It runs strong and the car pulls well. Car has been aligned and drives dead straight (no pulls to the left or right). All fluids are fresh. Known problems are the following: - Gas tank seal needs to be replaced (doesn't leak unless the tank is filled past it's maximum limit then drips slightly) Fully functionally, more just annoying when the tank is filled to the brim.- Windshield wiper motor has a short - Interior center console clock doesn't work - Center console needs to be tightened up to car floor brackets If you have questions call/text me - Caleb 408-649-4292 - Car is located in Salt Lake City UT. I will not work with anyone outside of the US. - The back passenger window crank works but requires some "assistance". This is due to the window crank teeth worn down. New window cranks are easy to throw on and not expensive. -Minor waves in the front driver side fender but the paint shows beautifully. I'm nit picking but it's not a trailer queen paint job. This car was built to be driven and used.
