this is a 1947 ford pickup. it is on a 1947 ford pickup frame. it has a straight axle front end and a 9 inch ford truck rear end. it has manual brakes and manual steering. it has a 1971 ford mustang 351 Windsor small block with a rebuilt c4 auto trans. it has new brakes, new dual exhaust. it has a new 12 volt wiring harness. it runs and drives. the motor is stock. the body is fair but it does have a lot of bondo in it. it was built to be a daily driver rat rod shop truck. it is a cool truck and gets a lot of attention at the car shows. it has 16 inch wheels and tires. they are fair. this truck was built by me and my father. it is not perfect. it has cool custom touches like, spot lights,sunvisor, fender skirts and a real cool custom shifter. the battery and gas tank are in the box in the bed. the bed has a metal floor. my dad made the custom grille out of stainless metal. it has model a bumpers. we have too many projects so we are willing to let this one go. it has places where rust is bubbling up and primer is coming off but that gives it that old patina look.
