NO RESERVE!!! Always been a Florida car! Always garaged, no leaks, a beautiful head-turner. You are bidding on a 1970 Volkswagen VW Karmann Ghia Convertible cream puff. I have never seen one with this much historical data. I have 30 years' worth of receipts and records for the car from the previous owner (see paperwork in parts picture). Everything has been redone on this car (see pictures). The most recent restoration was six years ago (new paint, new floors, full coating underneath, new top, new interior, engine rebuild to 1800cc, 4-speed manual Hurst shifter, brakes, seals, lines, battery, wiring, CD player, top stained from white to tan, etc). The mileage of 88k is original; the owners only drove it on the weekends to go to the store and church. They also were featured in an annual parade every year. I have frame-off restoration pictures from the previous owner. The car starts up on the first fire every time and drives like a dream. Also comes with two separate tonneau covers (one for covering the convertible top when driving, and the other one that you can put on quickly when running into the store or to keep the sun off the seats without the hassle of taking the top back up, setting the window back in place, and rolling up the windows). Car also has "Ghia" floor mats and custom blue and white interior, as well as the factory rumble/back seat. Also has full size spare (painted same color scheme). I also have a ton of spare parts, including the original door handles, the original mirrors, the original chrome bumpers (rear set needs to be re-chromed, and second rear mounting bracket, which is missing in picture, is also included, just in the spare parts box), the original VW hubcaps, extra plastic tail lights and bumper lights (front and rear). There are also two boxes of spare parts (rubber seals, convertible top inner mechanics, convertible top glass latch, interior window rollers and door handles, etc) which will all convey in the auction. The only noticeable body blemish is on the right rear trunk lid (see pic - slight dent and paint cracking fixed with touch up paint - something fell over in previous owner's garage - it was previously covered with a sticker).
