Up for auction is a 1989 Dodge Diplomat Police Package car. Undocumented former Tennessee Highway Patrol car. 318 4 Bbl Heavy Duty Engine with Police components: brakes, oil cooler, transmission cooler, power steering cooler, double roller timing chain, 360 heads, etc. Current mileage is 114,000 speculative. I have owned the vehicle since 2011 and have put only about 2000 miles on it.Car is clearly a southern one, no rot on body or frame. A couple spots here and there I treated with POR15 when I got the car and a hole I found (penny sized) behind the rocker molding when I pulled it off. The tape on the rear quarter is only covering the whip mount holes.I have put much into the car, including the following: Rebuilt Tranny with mild shift kit, New brake pads, shoes, rotors, drums, hoses, calipersNew front & rear shocksBare Y pipe with performance muffler and 2.25" piping.New Carpet Redyed InteriorNew headlinerNew Timing chain, water pump, fan clutch, belts, heater hoses, bypass hose, radiator hoses.Radiator puller, pressure tested, paintedBattery & trayIntake Hot Tanked (it was clean without carbon buildup)A/C Compressor newNew alternator Wiper bushings replacednew Oil pannew window motors (front passenger window just came off track)New tires. I have done some pre-wiring for wigwags (unit mounted), power distribution, police radio, grille light wiring. It is rough but all there. A lightbar wiring harness has been run through and it sitting in the headliner. A strap connecting to it can be accessed through the existing roof hole in the top for easy access to connect a lightbar. I had enough strands to run a Federal Jetsonic with speaker. There is most likely a few more items that I did but cannot remember. If something comes to mind, I will add or please ask questions.
