This is a very interesting custom built boat tail roadster. The car was built in the mid 1930's here in Butte Montana, by Snell Automotive. Snell's Automotive shop was located at 201 S. Montana st. The car was used as the tow vehicle for the 1938 Butte Montana, 4th of July Soap box derby race on Park street. The Butte Public Archives has a silent movie in color of this car being used in that capacity. Here is the link to it: https://www.facebook.com/butte.archives/videos/884966008224594/. The engine, trans, axles and gauge cluster are 1934 Plymouth. The axles have been narrowed to make the car smaller the wheels have even been cut down to 12". The body looks like it was made out of some type of early speedster factory body. The car is in very nice barn find condition. It was never left outside and the wood is still sound. Under the primer, on each side, the original Snell Automotive advertising is still painted on the car. The hubcaps are also marked Snell in the middle. The car does not have a title as far as I know it was never titled. I will provide a notarized bill of sale The engine turns over and the car is a roller. This is a very interesting and strange early custom car and it is tiny, cycle car size. The grill hood and one fender are missing. This is a really cool prewar custom roadster with a known history.
