Presenting "The Viking", possibly the finest first-year Ranchero available today. It has been expertly refinished in the original Dresden Blue and Colonial White. All chrome and stainless trim has been replaced or rechromed. And there is a LOT of chrome; check the photos. All glass has been replaced (tinted). It has a '58 hood with the "scoop". The interior has been completely redone from headliner and dash to carpet. The upholstery is top quality blue and white vinyl. Headlamps have the T-1 logo. Tires are the period-correct B.F. Goodrich Silvertown 7.10-15 wide whitewalls with DOT code 2013. Wheels are Thunderbird logo chrome wires. Mileage showing on the odometer is presently 24025. I do not know the actual total mileage. Upgrades include: engine is a 351 Windsor with a new Edelbrock 4 barrel carbpower steeringpower disc brakes with dual circuit master cylinder"Ididit" tilt steering columnair conditioning lots of chrome under the hoodauxiliary electric fan With the modern upgrades and automatic transmission this pickup is the ideal cruiser for modern driving conditions. It will turn heads wherever it goes. It runs and drives fine. There are a few mechanical details to take care of before the truck can be considered finished:speedometer and odometer are not connected (not working)gas and temp gauges also not connectedhorn not workingturn signals don't self-canceldoor locks don't work (I suspect prev. owner swapped doors from a donor car)needs neutral safety switchneeds seat beltshydraulic brake light switch needs to be replaced with a mechanically activated switchwiper motor needs to be re-assembled and installed.original radio not working None of the above items will prevent this vehicle from being a show-stopper.
