Vehicle Detail

Up for Auction is my 1951 Fabulous Hudson Hornet, 2 door Coupe! If you are looking at this auction there is no need for me to give you the history of NASCARS first dominate car. "Doc" is a Survivor. Rescued in 1979 by the late great Ed Kratzer the "King of Catasaqua", Doc has spent most of his life garage kept in Eastern, Pa. Doc has an early 80's restoration which means...Ed painted him and undercoated him! That is why Doc is in such good shape today. I bought Doc from Ed's estate in 2007. All I've done is fix the breaks and put tires on him. Doc drives great and has a nice deep throaty sound. Here are some highlights:308 Flathead 6 Engine.3 Speed on the Tree Manual Transmission.Single Carb, not the Twin H.Chrome looks great.Body is straight and solid.Original Interior.Undercarriage has no issues. Doc is a 65 year old car that has been kept mechanically sound. He could use a new paint job and door/body seals but you can drive him to a show tomorrow and be proud. Everyone loves this car. They want to have their picture taken with the car made even more famous by the Disney Movie. Here is what you get. You get Doc Hudson, As Is-No Warranty. However, you also get The Fabulous Hudson Hornet! The Magnets and Eye Balls come with him. Drive him to the show as Doc Hudson and when you get there, dress him up as the Fabulous Hudson Hornet. I do not need to sell Doc. Please do not call me offering less than the opening price of the No Reserve Auction. Please do not bid if you really don't want the car. Check out my photos. If you have questions or want to come and see Doc, call me at 215-499-6286. My name is Wes and Doc is located in Upper Bucks County, Pa. VIN# 7A-75358. 7A denotes 1951 Hornet as does the 308 Flathead 6 Engine. Pictures of the car with the Magnetic Lettering were taken in 2009 before I had the car polished. The rest of the pictures were taken in the fall of 2015. The Hudson Rocket Emblems have been missing from the side fenders since the previous owner painted it in 1980.
