Vehicle Detail

Up for sale here I have a rare 1937 Oldsmobile L37 business coupe with an original straight eight engine. Of the 212,767 1937 oldsmobiles built only 2437 were straight 8 business coupes (no rear seat) which makes it less common than the 1937 L37 club coupe (rear seat) in the Olds museum in michigan of which 2439 were built. It has tons of art deco touches like the taillights, grille, wiper arm covers, steering wheel, and license plate light. The grille does have a crack that runs along the center trim but no metal is missing so it should be repairable. All the business coupe seat frames and brackets look to be there and in decent shape. The car appears to be all there plus some spare parts like an extra pair of running boards, extra hood and sides, three sets of headlights and extra taillights. The interior is filled with boxes of parts from the car and the trunk has engine parts and the original wheels with trim rings and center caps. The bumpers look to be pretty nice I'm not sure if they've been rechromed or not. The car is very solid for being almost 80 years old. There is some rust on the inside of the deck lid and a small amount in the lower cowl. It has a little bit of rust in the rear trunk area by the tailpanel but the rest of the trunk floor is solid. The rear fenders have been primed and look great inside and out. The front fenders have some dings and one is missing a small part of the front lower section. The floors, frame and rockers are in great shape. The car has been stored disassembled indoors for at least the last 25 years. The cylinders were greased years ago to prevent rust and don't look bad. The car has a clear Ks title in my name that matches the tag on the frame and an original shop manual. If there is a banjo steering wheel in any of the photos its not included I'm keeping it for my 1937 Chevy truck. TO VIEW MORE PICTURES GO TO 1937oldsbuscoupe.shutterfly.com. The $500 non refundable deposit is due within 48 hours with the balance due in 7 days. The car is for sale locally so the auction may end at anytime before a bid is placed. International bidders are welcome. The car is selling with no reserve. Thanks and good luck bidding.
