This bus/van until a few weeks ago was owned by a government operated/owned by a school district in our neighboring State of Louisiana, was replaced with a new a little over two years ago because of appearance, age and miles, has sat idle not being used since then. We purchased the bus/van directly from them along with about 20 other items, not from an auction, dealer or broker, simply turning this one into cash. After purchasing we hauled it to our location, replaced the battery and alternator, washed it and photographed for eBay. The van cranks right up on its own power, engine and transmission run and shift properly, we have not driven it a long distance but have ran it down the road several miles and let it run long enough to warm up, etc. The running gear seems great, it does have a check engine light on and we will hook a diagnostic computer to it and add to this listing what code it is showing, probably not much to it because it runs fine, we would also suggest a good servicing/lubing from one end to the other, new wiper blades and may have to replace a few light bulbs, etc. As you can see in the photos the van is ugly, ugly, the paint is chipping/peeling off all over, this is typical for these year Dodge Vans, bad paint, it still has some of the school district decals on it, the front tires are okay and the rear are bald, the headliner has fallen out and is not in the van, the one row seat is all that we got with it, the other row/bench seats are missing and do not come with the van, the school district was using the back area as a cargo van, other than that what you see is what you get. We are selling the van with a clean-clear title and bill of sale, it will crank up, drive down the road although we would suggest a good servicing before traveling too far, it is selling regardless of price, is 16 years old and is ugly, does crank and run and is not running hot, blowing or burning oil or anything like that, seems to still have plenty of life left in it, will make someone needing a work van, cargo van, around the farm van or someone with a large family a cheap means of transportation, also perfect to haul a crew of workers in!
