This 1978 Corvette Pace Car is 1 of 6,502 produced. The L89S5035 means it was the 5,035th to come down the GM assembly line. This pace car has been sitting since we have owned it; with intentions of restoring it. It has all original equipment except the top accessories on engine...breather, plastic air and distributor cover, etc. The engine is the matching L48 and runs very strong. Options are: A/C, Power windows and locks, rear defogger, tilt/tele. 8track Stereo. Original Aluminum Red Lined Wheels. Drive line and undercarriage good. Driver side Ttop is cracked. Needs complete interior, although the original 8track is in tact (not sure it works). The Paint and outer pace car decals are original. In other words this is an original driving pace car project worth restoring. I believe the 55,871 miles to be actual as this car has set most of its life.
