1966 Ford Mustang convertible. Barn Find 3 day no reserve auction to sell to highest bidder. 75,000 original miles.. 289 v-8 4 barrel engine. Power convertible top Previous owner of 25 years had this stored away in his barn. Original door tag, matching vin numbers on aprons, Engine tag, very nice to have all these original items.. Needs full restoration. But what an absolute beauty restored !! Notice please the mustang is not sagging in the least... A real problem with these old mustang, Nice clean door gaps... Doors open and close !!! A nice rare Factory Ford Mustang V-8 convertible.. Grab it and growl !! This is a particularly nice project as it is not rusted in all the usual places, the front frame rails, rear frame rails, floor supports are in very good condition. This mustang needs floors pans, light sheet metal repairs...Not Major frame repair at all... Excellent father and son project. Quarter panels are Original to the mustang along with doors and fenders,etc.. Nice clean door jams.. Most of the mustang still has its Original factory vintage burgundy paint, a very desirable paint color. The mustang will make a fairly straight forward project and in the right hands could be on the road in very little time. The 289 engine appears to be original to the mustang.. The original engine tag is pictured. Previous owner did replace the original intake with a Factory FORD 4 barrel intake and a Ford Autolite 4v carb. The engine is not locked up and engine was in running condition when parked. The mustang rolls and steers easily, all suspension components are complete and intact. All original FORD wiring still in car and not tampered with in the least. This Mustang will make someone looking for a good car to restore very happy. Nice Factory colors, Nice white interior, Very nice ! Original factory v-8 car, Nice ! Please, the vehicle is 50 years old and is being sold in as is condition. Clear title... Notes for buyer,, The mustang originally came with bucket seats, not a bench seat, If you prefer buckets let me know and I will remove bench seat and install two bucket seats.. The wheels on this mustang are not included.. Four good roller wheels and tires will be provided.. This is a nice clean little mustang needing restoration, much, if not all Parts are Original FORD parts, Nice little rare car worth a very nice little sum of money in restored condition..
