Vehicle Detail
Lowered reserve and updated pictures. When basing appraisal of this Jeep, I used NADA, not KBB. If you're getting this financed, most banks use NADA. My beloved Jeep is up for sale. I had plans to keep this until the body rusted away...But plans have changed. Long story short, I moved 8-months ago and I have a 125-mile commute to and from work. While this handles all the day-to-day, I can't justify racking up 30,000+ miles a year on this, even though it could handle it. I purchased this in October 2014 with 45,227 on the odometer. The Jeep now has 88,XXX (will go up for the daily commute until deposit is received). Maintenance: I've detailed every service and maintenance item that I've done on the Jeep through my ownership. Oil change intervals (Mobil 1 0W30 ESP) / tire rotation were always done at 7,500 miles. New air filter every 15,000 miles. At 64,000 miles I had a glow plug go bad, so I replaced all of them (Bosch). 69,000 miles #2 glow plug went out, so I replaced it and purchased a new glow plug module (Dorman) along with it. No problems since. I upgraded the intake pipe from the old orange seal to the black seal. Differentials and transfer case were recently serviced at 82,300 (MOPAR NV transfer case oil and Royal Purple 75w140 in the differentials). New brake pads and rotors were done at 83,000. I was hard pressed to find and dings/dents, but there are minor scratches (can be buffed out) and paint chips in a couple areas. Nothing too terrible, but I wanted to fully disclose. ***Please inquire for more maintenance details, if you'd like*** Aftermarket: The Jeep has 1" wheel spacers. WeatherTech mats, all-around. 10" stubby antenna. New steering wheel that is three months old. Fumoto drain plug on the oil pan...Makes oil changes a lot easier and less messy. At 79,500 miles I purchased and installed the Green Diesel Engineering EcoTune. If you're unaware of the benefits, please research. This is one of the best aftermarket purchases you can get for these Jeeps. The engine is MUCH happier. With the tune, I've been achieving 25-27MPG on the highway and 24MPG mixed. Original file and tuned file - along with the tuner itself will be included. I was antsy, got excited and stupidly got an extended warranty through Fidelity Warranty Services at the time of my purchase...It's supposedly transferable and it's good for another 3.5 years or 12,000 miles (100,000 miles total). Purchased, but not installed: Bilstein 5100 shocks, CB Engineering CCV re-route and turbo resonator delete. Upon sale, I will do a fresh oil change, put on a new serpentine belt, wash/wax and top off the tank. Known issues: Walkaround video: https://youtu.be/C5jEodEKwwA There is some seat wear on the drivers side (previous owner) from sliding in and out. Minor scratch on the dash above the stereo. I purchased the Everest style wheels that had the 08-10 TPMS; the 05-07 model year systems don't recognize due to different frequency. As a result, the onboard system blips upon start up and every 25 miles...Hasn't bothered me that much. I do have the correct TPMS sensors, but I haven't gotten around to installing them. I should also mention, the wheels are missing a good bit of clear coat. I had planned on taking them off and repainting them this summer. Tires are roughly 30-40%, so they will need to be addressed before too long. No dry rot or plugs, though. The original owner traded this Jeep when it had 41,885. I am technically the second owner of this Jeep (even though it shows 4). 2nd "owner" was a service tech at the dealer who owned it all of 23-days and put ~90-miles on it before the dealer (3rd "owner") bought it back and put close to 4,000 miles on it. Autocheck shows a possible "odometer rollback". There was a clerical error at the dealership. A signed and notarized affidavit from the original owner stated the mileage was true upon the sale to me. I guarantee the authenticity of the mileage on the odometer and that there was no rollback involved. I've included a picture of the CarFax reflecting the mileage upon my purchase. I HIGHLY encourage local pick-up - but will ship at the buyers expense. If you're from out of town, I can pick you up from Dayton or Cincinnati International Airport at no cost. I think that if you're buying a vehicle online, you need to see it in person...That way there are absolutely no surprises. I'm open to private party inspection, at the prospective buyers expense and location of their choosing within a 25-mile radius of 45056. I have a 2-post lift that I'd be happy to put the Jeep on for undercarriage inspection. The CarFax from when I purchased the Jeep can also be provided. If you have any questions or need more detailed pictures, please let me know. On Jul-10-16 at 08:30:40 PDT, seller added the following information: ****Added pictures of the undercarriage****
