This corvette was a daily driver until the owner was told the engine was bad from a guy at a service station, he was driving on the highway when a screeching sound appeared and the engine light came on, he shut it off, it was towed to a enclosed storage as he was on leave and had to return to the service, its been there ever since. ( 10 years ago I was told ) After a quick review I removed the belt and found the smog pump was froze up ( the source ) the engine turns over fine and it appears everything is fine.
